FAQs

  • Of course you are more than welcome to come with twins or triplets.

  • Feel free to bring the following optional items:

Your own towel for your baby to lie on. We will provide mats, but direct contact with your baby’s own towel might make them feel more comfortable.

Nappy Changing / Feeding Equipment. There will be a nappy changing station available with nappies and wipes but please bring any additional equipment that you feel you may need.

A small toy for your baby.

  • We will provide organic sunflower oil to be used during class, and although reactions are extremely rare we will need to do a patch test of the oil on your baby before class.

  • Each week, we'll focus on a different body area, culminating in a full routine in the final week. My classes are dedicated solely to baby massage, ensuring a valuable, enjoyable, and relaxing experience without overstimulating you or your baby.

These sessions are designed to relax you as well as your baby.

  • I am frequently asked if it is too late to start baby massage - it is never too late.

The class is suitable from 8 weeks, after the 8 week health check, until crawling.

  • At booking, there is a health questionnaire which asks for current health status, immunisation status, birth history, etc.

I ask these questions so that I am aware of any contraindications to massage and I am able to advise on the best adaptions to strokes you may need.

It is the parent or carers responsibility to make me aware of any healthy changes on the day e.g. recent immunisations or illness.
